In God is my salvation and my glory,
the rock of my strength and my refuge, is in God.

Shortly before starting furlough in the U.K. to share about the ministry, a few lines to greet you.
Last month we celebrated that it’s already been 27 years that Mision Adulam has been working among addicted teenagers and vulnerable children. Throughout, you have been with us, as a vital part of our greater team. You have been such a blessing and an encouragement to us. We could not do without you, thank you so much! I
It was very moving to hear a dad tell about the support his son with ADHD received in Jesed. He could not write and wasn’t able to socialize with others, now he is a boy who manages and continues to grow in confidence.
The girls from Talita Cumi expressed in a different way how the Lord never left them on the ground having sunk deep, but that just in that time He reached out to them. Like Paula: her parents died as a consequence of extreme alcohol abuse and she was angry with God. One day she unburdened her heart, weeping, and after that, she said, peace came. A few days later she gave her heart to the Lord Jesus and now she has vision for the future.
I sincerely want to thank you for your faithful prayers and support, and for your special help in providing the funds I had been hoping to leave in the Mision to cover necessary expenses while I am away. Unfortunately, that goal has not been achieved. Due to the fact that we aim to provide good care for our young people, we have a relatively large staff in the projects to be able to give them the personalized care they need. And here too, that costs a lot of money. Now, I am hearing about the 100 days till Christmas countdown and imagine that possibly brings the December season close to home! I wonder if I can ask you to consider an early December (possibly Christmas) gift for our young people to enable the continuation of the ministry here?
You are leaving Summer behind, and we are entering Spring this weekend, but in spite of the distance we remain united in the love of the Lord Jesus. I hope to be in different churches to share about the work of Mission Adulam in more detail, if you are close – it would be great to see you there!
Bye, Fineke, children, young people and teams in Mision Adulam.
