Newsletter February 2021
In God is my salvation an my glory,
the rock of my strenght an my refuge, is in God.

the rock of my strenght an my refuge, is in God.
The world of our young people.

And then there is Limber, a 15-year-old boy from the rural area. His dad is in agriculture and mum is a cleaner, he has a complete lack of respect for his parents who get dirty hands in their jobs. That is going to be fun in Adulam, when it is his turn to peel potatoes for dinner. And uhm, well, we don’t have a washing machine or laundry lady either, so now he can wash his own clothes! Hopefully that will all help to get a different appreciation of his parents. It is a sad family, one brother lost his life earlier because of alcohol abuse. For us at Mision Adulam, the challenge is, to discover how to inspire them so that they have something to live for. This is really what it’s all about. We invite you to pray that they will meet with the Lord and that He will show them a New Way of Life + even a way to earn a living with future prospects! Please PRAY with us.

The next three planned activities in prisons have not been effectuated yet, due to Covid regulations. We will not be taking as many sandwiches as you see on the picture this time. Through a contact in a firm, we have received generous gifts of many goodies on or past date, at the moment I have over 12.000 small chocolate bars in the house, 2.500 sachets of coffee and 4.000 maggi cubes to name a few things. What a blessing, my amazing volunteers will make little parcels to bless others and also to give them to the prisoners together with their Bible.

To sit around the table together, like here with the prison ministry team, will not happen any time soon unfortunately. But, I have found a partial solution for that! The church here has given me a Zoom link. The idea is to share something about the ministry on February the 23rd with time for questions too. I would really appreciate if you could put the date in your diary. We have just picked a date and time, if for you this was the worst timing or day of the week, please drop me a line, then I can see if we can plan another time also.
On March 9th 18:30 welcome, 19.00 presentation about the work of Adulam with time for questions, 20.00 finish.
