It is this time of year when you get LOADS of messages, I still want to add ours as well!

Christmas is coming and in spite of all the commercial noise we think about the coming of the Lord Jesus. This gives me and all in Mision Adulam the courage to enter into a New Year – together with Him. May you be upheld in all that 2023 brings, through the power of God and His loving presence.

The Mission is buzzing with activities these weeks, as several teenage girls and boys are concluding their rehabilitation program. This means graduation ceremonies and seeing them return to their families. Three girls finished high school successfully, quite a thing to do whilst in rehabilitation!

One boy returned to the village in the rural area where he came from, the family is very grateful for the help he received: thank you for enabling the ministry of the Mision! This boy, Cristopher, also received a certificate from the school as he was one of the best students in his class.

The children in Jesed had a very exciting day Friday with one of the special activities close to Christmas. For good efforts in all they do, they get "Jesed money" to spend in our Jesed "store", the best ever as we had been given shoes for the children to choose from as well! Where the children chose clothing as well as shoes, nearly all also chose food to take home, the sad reality of real poverty.

We finish this year deeply grateful. In the Mission we saw nearly a dozen finish rehabilitation. In Jesed we saw 77 children come and learn, and the parents of many of our young people and children received different trainings through the year to help them deal better with their children. Also over the course of this year we were blessed with extra help to do some much needed maintenance projects in the houses. Through a special gift we could purchase new matrasses and bedding for both Adulam and Talita Cumi, which was received with amazement - a true gift from the Lord.

Personally I have been the grateful recipient over these last two months of very kind and generous hospitality, which enabled me to visit many churches in mainly the south of the U.K.. It was great to meet so many of our friends, hear their stories and share a bit of our hearts! It is a blessing to know that you too stand with us in the ministry of Mision Adulam, it is an incredible privilege to have so many brothers and sisters like you, who love brothers and sisters they've never met and intercede for us and sustain us through financial support. May the Lord bless you as you participate in the ministry of Mision Adulam!

This comes with love and warm greetings, in Jesus, Fineke

A safe place, that’s what each teenager and child who comes to us longs for.
A place where they can be themselves and be listened to. A place also, where they can get out of their confusion and have the opportunity to get a fresh grip on their lives. Frequently this is made much more difficult because their parents don’t appreciate how important the part they should be playing is.
